About Pauline

Pauline trained at the West Surrey College of Art and Design at Farnham after which she combined teaching in various art schools with making her own ceramics for several years, eventually concentrating entirely on developing her own work.
She has always loved pattern and colour, and found that by using underglaze colours she could achieve a wonderful range of vibrant and intense effects once the surface is brought to life with a soft transparent glaze.
Her inspiration comes from many sources, predominately forms and patterns in nature.
She works from her studio in Devon and exhibits and sells directly to the public and galleries throughout the UK.
She is also a member of MAKE Southwest where her work can be seen locally.
Currently Pauline has her ceramics for sale at the following outlets:
-
MAKE Southwest: Bovey Tracey, Devon
-
Smithy Gallery, Blanefield, Glasgow
-
New Brewery Arts, Cirencester, Gloucestershire
-
Somerset Craft Guild, Wells, Somerset (Spring 2024)
